Job Description

Canada Post Corp is a leading provider of postal and courier services, and we are seeking a skilled Delivery Agent to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to customers in a safe and efficient manner. This will involve:

  • Sorting and preparing mail and packages for delivery
  • Loading and driving a postal vehicle
  • Delivering mail and packages to customers on a designated route
  • Returning to the depot to unload incoming mail and packages

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Class 5 or Class G driver's licence with a safe driving record
  • The physical ability to lift mail items weighing up to 22.7 kg (50 lb) and carry items weighing up to 15.9 kg (35 lb) regularly throughout the day
  • The ability to work in all types of weather
  • The availability to be on-call
  • The ability to read, write and speak English and/or French
