We are seeking a skilled and experienced Arborist to join our team at Arborwood Tree Service.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to tree care, including pruning, planting, and removing trees. They will also be required to maintain equipment and vehicles, and perform other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Work Site Environment: Dangerous, odours, at heights, noisy, outdoors.
- Certificates, Licences, Memberships, and Courses: International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) certification, Arboriculturists Trade Certification.
- Area of Specialization: Tree service.
- Security and Safety: Driving record check (abstract), eligible for professional liability insurance, criminal record check.
- Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, manual dexterity, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years, permanent position, 35 to 55 hours per week, English language.
