We are seeking a skilled Cement Finisher to join our team at JLSQ Construction Services LTD. As a Cement Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Surface Preparation: Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
- Compaction and Finishing: Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification.
- Finishing Techniques: Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
- Installation and Repair: Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures, and repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
- Surface Protection: Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces, and waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces.
As a Cement Finisher, you will work in a variety of environments, including dusty and noisy conditions, outdoors, and in urban areas.
Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
- Physical Demands: Physically demanding work, handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, kneeling, standing for extended periods, and attention to detail.
- Work Conditions: 40 hours per week, permanent work term, and English language proficiency.
