About the Role
Movati Athletic is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fitness Instructor to join our team. As a Fitness Instructor, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality fitness classes to our members, providing a fun and safe environment that promotes a sense of community and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Instruct challenging and engaging group fitness classes for members of all levels, ensuring a high level of enthusiasm and motivation.
- Develop and implement effective fitness programs that cater to the diverse needs of our members, including those with special requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with members, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience.
- Collaborate with the Group Fitness Manager to ensure that all classes are well-organized, well-attended, and meet the highest standards of quality.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest fitness trends and best practices, incorporating new ideas and techniques into your classes.
- Contribute to the development of new programs and services that align with the company's vision and goals.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
- 1+ years of related group fitness instruction experience required.
- Successful completion of a nationally recognized Fitness Instruction Specialist Certification required.
- Additional certifications to teach specialized classes, special populations, and adapted fitness are an asset.
- Successful completion of additional health and nutrition certification programs is an asset.
