Job Title: Field Service Instrumentation Technician

Current Instrumentation & Automation Inc. is seeking a skilled Field Service Instrumentation Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for performing commissioning, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, repairs, and calibrations to industrial instrumentation and automation systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Commissioning and troubleshooting of industrial instrumentation and automation systems and equipment
  • Performing preventative maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal system performance
  • Calibrating and testing instrumentation and automation equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Collaborating with the service manager, business development, and inside team to identify and provide solutions for clients in various industries
Requirements:
  • Field experience in the instrumentation field
  • Fair understanding of industrial instrumentation and equipment, including temperature, pressure, level, flow, gas analyzers, and fixed toxic and flammable gas detection
  • Familiarity with automation systems and equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • An electrical license is an asset
  • Valid Canadian work permit
