Position Overview
At Mad Science - Imagine Arts Academy, we create memorable experiences. Engage children in thrilling activities such as building and launching rockets, showcasing laser demonstrations, and exploring the fascinating properties of matter with dry ice. Your role will be to ignite curiosity in young minds through our dynamic programs that reveal the wonders of science.

We are in search of ENTHUSIASTIC and VIBRANT individuals to lead SCIENCE PARTIES and DEMONSTRATIONS.

Look no further than MAD SCIENCE You will have the opportunity to visit various venues, including schools, libraries, camps, and homes, to deliver EXCITING science presentations that will captivate your audience.

We take care of the training and equipment, as well as all the scheduling and bookings from our office. Your main task is to engage and entertain the children.

Science shows and parties occur FREQUENTLY. This is a part-time position, but we prefer candidates with a flexible schedule who can accommodate multiple events with adequate notice.

Qualifications:
  • An OUTGOING and ENERGETIC personality
  • Enjoys performing in front of groups
  • Experience working with children aged 4-12
  • Theatrical experience is a plus
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • A mobile phone is required
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
  • Availability during evenings and weekends
  • Basic knowledge of science (training provided for specifics)
  • High levels of ENERGY
  • All candidates must undergo a Vulnerable Sector Screening upon hiring
