Retail Meat Specialist

Chahine Inc is seeking a skilled Butcher with expertise in both retail and wholesale environments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in meat processing and customer service.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary school or equivalent experience is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
The position is based in a cold/refrigerated work setting, primarily within a butcher shop or supermarket meat department.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare meats for processing by cleaning and cutting.
- Execute standard cuts of meat, including trimming and packaging.
- Handle and price meat products for sale.
- Assist customers with their meat selections and provide expert advice.
- Supervise and train junior butchers and meat cutters.
- Prepare special orders and create attractive displays of meats, poultry, and seafood.
This is a permanent position with a standard work schedule of 40 hours per week. The primary language of work is English.
