Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team at Shared Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing timely and accurate payments to suppliers, as well as providing information about payables and payments for reporting purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and verify invoices for payment
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of payables and payments
  • Provide information and reports to management and other stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a computerized accounting environment
  • Completion of high school education, Manitoba standards
  • Completion of Business/Accounting diploma from a recognized business college within the last 8 years
  • Typing minimum 50 WPM
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Knowledge of General Accounting concepts and account coding
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
