Position Overview:
The Faculty of Law at the University of Toronto is seeking exceptional scholars for a full-time tenure stream position in the field of Business Law. The successful candidate will be appointed at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor.
Research Focus:
We are particularly interested in candidates whose expertise aligns with our existing research and teaching areas. Specializations may include, but are not limited to, Banking Law, Bankruptcy Law, Commercial Law, and Secured Transactions. We encourage innovative and interdisciplinary approaches to legal studies.
Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a J.D. or an equivalent qualification, with a preference for those holding a doctoral degree. A proven track record of excellence in both research and teaching is essential. The ideal candidate will be expected to lead and conduct independent research at a high international standard while maintaining a competitive and externally funded research agenda.

Demonstrated research excellence should be evidenced by:
