Job Title: Pilot - Forest Fire Suppression

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Pilot to join our team at Forest Protection Limited. As a Pilot - Forest Fire Suppression, you will be responsible for operating aircraft in support of wildland fire management and suppression efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate assigned aircraft in accordance with company operations manual and standard operating procedures
  • Adhere to instructions issued by officers of the Department of Natural Resources on fire suppression or instructions from the base manager when assigned to aerial application projects
  • Report all items requiring maintenance on the aircraft as soon as possible
  • Responsible for the cleanliness of the aircraft at all times
Requirements:
  • Commercial Pilot License - Fixed wing
  • Previous experience in role or familiarity in aerial suppression operations will be an asset qualification, but not required
  • Experience in a Piper Aerostar, Cessna Caravan, or aircraft equipped with a Garmin G1000NXI is an asset
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English
  • Have a valid driver's license for travel within and outside the province
  • Have a valid passport
