Job Title: Cook

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Railside Lounge and Leisure Centre INC. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient operations
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Organize buffets and banquets to meet customer expectations
  • Manage kitchen operations to ensure timely and high-quality food service
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliability and organizational skills to manage kitchen operations
