Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for guiding our safety, health, and environmental initiatives across six sites, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor and evaluate safety and environmental practices.
  • Analyze and take corrective action on accidents and incidents involving people or property.
  • Create and monitor safety and environmental statistics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Manage accident investigations and reporting, including workers' compensation reporting.
  • Collaborate with management and employees to foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Safety Engineering, or Environmental Health and Safety, or equivalent experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable regulations, including OSHA and EPA.
  • Experience with Title V permits, air permits, hazardous waste management, and environmental reporting requirements.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to write reports and develop presentations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
