Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Retail Sales Representative to join our team at Acosta. As a Retail Sales Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional sales and merchandising support to our clients in the Grocery, Gas & Convenience Retail Channel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Sales and Merchandising Results: Identify volume opportunities, provide excellent customer service, supply product information, and ensure product dominance and distribution.
  • Execute Sales and Merchandising Strategies: Communicate and execute sales and merchandising strategies, promotions, and guidelines to clients in the assigned territory.
  • Build Strong Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with store personnel, negotiate product placement, and communicate client information and sell promotions.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide product information to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Use handheld reporting to track sales and merchandising activities, and maintain accurate records of sales and merchandising results.
  • Meet Sales and Merchandising Objectives: Meet or exceed sales and merchandising objectives, and provide regular updates to management on sales and merchandising progress.
Requirements
  • Experience: Prior territory retail experience is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong relationship and persuasive communication skills, organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technical Skills: Computer literate and comfortable using digital technology (handheld, camera, etc.).
  • Physical Demands: Able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs, stand, bend, reach on a daily basis, and drive for extended periods of time.
