Nurse Care Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Sienna Senior Living. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality resident care and ensuring the well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and plan resident needs, delivering skilled procedures and medication administration in accordance with quality management and legislative requirements.
- Collaborate with residents and their substitute decision makers to understand their needs, preferences, and health status.
- Develop and evaluate plans of care, setting goals and priorities to ensure optimal resident outcomes.
- Supervise, assist, and oversee nursing care, ensuring delivery of excellent nursing and personal care.
- Participate in conferences with the interdisciplinary team, providing care to residents and contributing to their overall well-being.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent.
- Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario or the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Knowledge of nursing process, developments, and current trends in geriatric care.
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
- Demonstrated administrative and computer skills, with experience in word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
- Demonstrated interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
