Role & Responsibilities:We are looking for a Civil Engineer with expertise in structural and bridge preliminary design, along with engineering proposals and recommendations.Assist with ongoing and future projects by conducting site inspections and feasibility studies.Develop and prepare project estimates, proposals, budgets, project schedules, and execution strategies.Participate in the project management process, ensuring projects adhere to timelines and budgets while keeping relevant parties informed of updates.Review the work of and provide mentorship to Junior Engineers and EITs.When assigned, sign and stamp drawings and reports.Prepare documentation, including technical reports, specifications, municipal submissions, and technical proposals.Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and clients.The Ideal Candidate Possesses:In-depth knowledge of conveyance structures and materials, flow structures, and water retention.Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and feedback clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.Meticulous attention to detail.5-10 years of relevant industry experience is strongly preferred.A formal education in civil engineering from an accredited institution.P.Eng certification, licensed by PEO is mandatory.A valid license and the ability to travel to project sites within Ontario.Proficiency in MS Office.Perks/Benefits:Competitive compensation package and benefits.Hybrid work schedule with a focus on work-life balance (3 days in-office, 2 days WFH).Engagement in community-oriented initiatives and local charitable activities.A vibrant company culture with various employee activities (e.g., BBQs, potlucks, volleyball, hockey).Opportunities for long-term career growth and professional development.
