Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Zones the department to ensure a well-organized and visually appealing store environment.
  • Rotates stock and checks for expired products to maintain a high level of product freshness and quality.
  • Ensures merchandise is properly signed and priced to prevent errors and maintain accuracy.
  • Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates to ensure a safe and healthy shopping environment.
  • Follows proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels to maintain accurate inventory levels and prevent errors.
  • Maintains features and keeps the area neat, clean, and organized to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 kg and stand for long periods.
