- Cut and Trim Meat: Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat to meet customer demands.
- Wrap and Package Meats: Wrap and package prepared meats for sale, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Remove Bones and Weigh Meats: Remove bones from meat and weigh meats for sale, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Cut Poultry: Cut poultry into parts, following established procedures and guidelines.
- Standing for Extended Periods: Stand for extended periods, moving around the butcher shop and supermarket/grocery store environments.
- Attention to Detail: Maintain attention to detail, ensuring high-quality products and accurate weighing.
- Physically Demanding: Perform physically demanding tasks, handling heavy loads and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Handling Heavy Loads: Handle heavy loads, including meat and equipment, with care and precision.
- Hand-Eye Coordination: Demonstrate hand-eye coordination, cutting and trimming meat with accuracy and speed.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Will train, with a strong willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and equipment.
- Work Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 to 44 hours per week.
