Your responsibilities will include assisting early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children, engaging children in activities such as storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts, and assisting with record-keeping. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. If you are a team player with excellent communication skills and a passion for working with children, we encourage you to apply. The ideal candidate will have no degree, certificate, or diploma, but will be willing to train. The work setting will be in a child care centre with a team of 5-10 people. A criminal record check and Child Abuse Registry check will be required. The successful candidate will be punctual, dependable, and reliable, with a strong commitment to teamwork. The work term is permanent, with 80 hours bi-weekly. The work language is English.
