Clinical Externship

The Clinical Extern Program at Lakeridge Health offers a unique opportunity for nursing students to gain hands-on experience in a real-world setting. As a Clinical Extern, you will work alongside our experienced nursing team to provide patient care and develop your clinical skills.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with patient care duties under the supervision of a registered nurse
- Develop and apply clinical skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Contribute to the functioning of the nursing team and support the delivery of high-quality patient care
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and maintain a patient-focused approach
- Currently enrolled in an accredited School of Nursing
- Current BCLS certification
- Proven ability to maintain strict confidentiality and work in a team environment
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
- Ability to work all shifts as necessary
