Lakeridge Health is seeking a Clinical Extern to join our team. As a Clinical Extern, you will work as an Unregulated Healthcare Worker in one of our clinical areas, gaining hands-on experience in performing fundamental patient care duties.
Key Responsibilities- Work as an Unregulated Healthcare Worker in a clinical area
- Gain hands-on experience in performing fundamental patient care duties
- Assist with the functioning of the nursing team at the patient care level
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and contribute to a positive patient and family experience
- Currently enrolled in an accredited School of Nursing
- Current BCLS
- Proven ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
- Ability to work all shifts as necessary
- Must have a satisfactory performance record
