Position Overview:

Due to the increasing demand and expansion within the Application team, we are seeking a Senior Application Analyst. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the execution of internal operations and support, collaborating with vendors and being an integral part of a team managing a suite of in-house and vendor applications. Your contributions will be essential in bridging our teams with the IT solutions group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a vital member of a global support team focused on IT Core Operations.
  • Deliver Level 2 Incident & Problem Management support by liaising with vendors and/or internal support teams to address technical and user-related issues during product transitions and ongoing operations.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for IT user procedures and requirements concerning IT Change Management.
  • Create and update business user documentation and facilitate user training sessions.
  • Assist Project Managers with ongoing projects related to Public Markets and Business Core Operations Solutions.
  • Engage in the coordination and deployment of new platform releases alongside business users.
  • Enhance and develop platforms to boost automation and broaden feature utilization.
  • Facilitate internal coordination among various IT functions and groups to ensure high-quality service delivery and comprehensive issue resolution.
  • Contribute to business value by identifying process bottlenecks and improvements, demonstrating the ability to negotiate and implement necessary changes.
  • Respond to regulatory and audit requirements by providing appropriate support for information requests.
  • Support initiatives related to Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery.

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • A minimum of a college degree in a Business or IT-related discipline.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a team responsible for analytical support and administration of business applications.
  • Familiarity with applications, systems, and application architecture/platforms.
  • Understanding of the System Development Lifecycle and standard software development methodologies, including ITIL standards (certification is a plus).
  • Experience in creating and executing test scripts and methodologies.
  • Proficient technical writing and documentation skills.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of Application/Database infrastructure setup and management.
  • Familiarity with Citrix platforms.
  • Proficient in MS-Office and MS Visio.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Windows Server environments, Linux, Java applications, Microsoft IIS, Apache Tomcat, SQL Server, and Oracle DB.
  • Working knowledge of Mantra.
