We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Mucho Burrito Mission. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Determine the size of food portions and costs, plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization, and prepare and cook food to order.
- Kitchen Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, inspect kitchens and food service areas, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient and safe food preparation and service.
- Quality Control: Clean kitchen and work areas, and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment
- Language: English
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week
