We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at RhynoCare, providing high-quality nursing care to our residents in the Kincardine-area.
Responsibilities:- Deliver exceptional nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and resident plans of care.
- Utilize sound nursing practices to ensure the delivery of excellent care and personal support in assigned home areas.
- Ensure timely and safe resident admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Manage the supply, control, and safekeeping of medications and narcotics, adhering to established protocols.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of residents.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent degree.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Long Term Care Act, Program Standards for Long Term Care, and the Health Disciplines Act.
- Medical Clearance, including TB tests.
- Vulnerable Sector Police Check and/or Adult Abuse Registry Check.
- Clear Criminal Record check.
All staff are required to provide proof of vaccination, adhere to COVID-19 prevention protocols, and wear a mask at all times.
