Professional, Engineering, Masterlines Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Engineer to join our team as a Masterlines Designer. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality Masterlines surfaces for our aircraft products.
Key Responsibilities- Model Masterlines surfaces for all Bombardier Aerospace products, ensuring accuracy and precision.
- Design parametric models to simulate the deployment of systems and control surfaces, such as flaps, slats, and spoilers.
- Correct Masterlines surfaces problems and improve their quality, ensuring tangency and curvature distribution.
- Reconstruct surfaces from scans and cloud of points data, utilizing advanced CAD software.
- Collaborate with other engineering departments, including Advanced Aerodynamics, Advanced Design, and Advanced Structures, to ensure effective management of assigned design activities.
- Maintain the aircraft CAD model to the latest configuration and ensure its distribution to the rest of the team.
- University degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the aviation industry.
- Proficiency in CATIA V5, with experience in Generative Shape Design, Digitized Shape Editor, Quick Surface Reconstruction, Part Design, Assembly Design, Knowledge Ware, Generative Shape Optimizer, and Freestyle.
- Experience with Enovia is required, with Siemens Team Center being an asset.
- Knowledge of multi-model link management within CATIA V5, as well as VBA programming language.
- Understanding of aerodynamics and aerospace design principles.
- Knowledge of Siemens' NX software, with experience in CAD design and modeling.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work autonomously and demonstrate initiative and proactivity.
- Fluency in English and French, with strong writing and verbal skills.
