Meat Artisan Butcher/Cutter

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Meat Artisan Butcher/Cutter to join our team at Fortinos. As a key member of our meat department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers receive the highest quality meat products.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries and requests in a courteous and professional manner.
- Serve customers from the service meat counter and promote our meat products, offering meal solutions and cooking tips.
- Recommend and sell meat products to customers using suggestive selling skills.
- Prepare specialty meat cuts as per customer specification and ensure that the quality and cut complies with Company standards.
- Maintain the safety and sanitation of the department and ensure that it meets with Company policies and standards.
Requirements
- Proven exceptional customer service abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Cutting and/or culinary experience is an asset.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, afternoons, and evenings.
