We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our Business Enablement & Enterprise Procurement Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for purchasing goods for over 3,000 stores across Canada.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support vendor performance management, data analysis, and presentation preparation to drive business growth.
  • Maintain accurate system data for the Seafood category, ensuring vendor costing is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate vendor onboarding and new product creation.
  • Work closely with Buyers to resolve product availability and fulfillment challenges.
  • Support administrative activities and represent the Seafood category with confidence.
  • Promote a workplace of inclusiveness and belonging, fostering a positive and respectful work environment.
Requirements:
  • A curious and positive attitude, with a strong desire to learn and grow.
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in procurement, supply chain, or retail merchandising.
  • 1+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or retail merchandising, with a proven track record of success.
  • Confident prioritization and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong financial, business, and retail knowledge, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent relationship-management and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
