Job Title: Survey Party Chief

We are seeking a dedicated Survey Party Chief to join our team in Yellowknife, NWT. As a Survey Party Chief, you will gather field data and collaborate with our experienced project managers on various survey tasks, including legal and construction surveys.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct field surveys in alignment with client objectives under the guidance of the Project Manager.
  • Provide accurate documentation to office staff, including field notes and survey data.
  • Effectively communicate with team members to ensure timely task completion.
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols outlined by the company.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in operating survey equipment and maintaining company tools and vehicles.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Geomatics or related field with prior survey experience.
  • Background in the energy sector or construction is advantageous.
  • Possession of a valid Class 5 driver's license.
  • Relevant safety certifications preferred (e.g., H2S, First Aid, CSTS, Wildlife Awareness).
  • Physical fitness as the role involves outdoor work in challenging conditions, sometimes requiring carrying equipment over long distances.
