PepsiCo Beverages Electrical Systems Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Electrical Systems Technician to join our team at PepsiCo Beverages. As an Electrical Systems Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our electrical systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Apply knowledge of electrical processes, equipment, and system capability to achieve challenging individual and facility standards
- Achieve performance standards with regards to safety, line utilization, reliability, and quality
- Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety regulations and industry standards
- Demonstrate computer proficiency and ability to troubleshoot high-speed packaging equipment
- Safely and productively operate equipment in accordance with established procedures
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including completion of PMs and accurate part entry and PM closure via INFOR
- Maintain equipment in a satisfactory condition for safe operation
- Actively participate in line improvement meetings and projects
- Ensure adherence and compliance with quality standards
- Perform any other tasks as directed by managers and supervisors
- Must be a minimum of a Block 2 Industrial Electrician working towards Industrial Electrician License
- Self-motivated, well-organized, and able to multi-task
- Basic computer competency skills, with basic programming considered an asset
- Ability to troubleshoot high-speed packaging equipment required
- Skilled to use power tools
- Forklift and work at height training/certifications, or be willing to obtain
- High numeracy skills, record-keeping ability, and mechanically inclined
- High level of problem-solving skills, interpret process control data
- Ability to perform LOTO procedure
- Good knowledge of Food Safety Systems (GMP's, CCP's, oPRP's)
- Good attendance and a sense of urgency
- Willing to be involved in continuous improvement to improve the quality of the product
- Able to lift/carry/pull > 50lbs on occasion
- Able to perform standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and grasping
- Able to work shifts and overtime as required
