Bureau Veritas Group is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Analyst 1 to join our dynamic team in the Organics Department.

As an Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of environmental sample analysis. You will utilize your expertise in analytical techniques to deliver high-quality results that meet stringent industry standards.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Perform complex analyses using advanced instrumentation such as GC-MS/FID, LC/MS/MS, and HPLC, requiring strong analytical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Maintain and calibrate instruments to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
  • Review LIMS reports to plan daily work schedules and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Quality Assurance principles throughout the analytical process.
  • Prepare reagents, calibration standards, and samples according to established protocols.
  • Interpret data, calculate results, and accurately enter information into LIMS systems.
  • Conduct quality control procedures and identify any deviations from acceptable limits.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and colleagues to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of analyses.
Your Qualifications:
  • Science Technical Diploma or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of analytical instruments, including HPLC, LC/MS/MS, and GC-MS/FID is highly desirable.
  • Solid understanding of laboratory practices and analytical procedures.
  • Proficiency in reviewing analytical methods and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
