We are seeking a highly skilled R&D Manager to join our Electrophysiology division at Boston Scientific. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and management to a portfolio of medical device products, ensuring they meet design requirements, regulatory standards, and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership to a portfolio of medical device products, supporting ongoing manufacturing and ensuring products meet design requirements, regulatory standards, and customer needs.
- Provide leadership, management, and mentoring to R&D team members, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Collaborate with quality, regulatory, project management, manufacturing, and marketing teams to align product portfolio with market and business needs.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and standards throughout the product lifecycle.
- Present project updates, technical updates, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders, healthcare professionals, and suppliers.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years' experience as a leader of technical people, with experience training and mentoring engineers.
- 8+ years of experience in engineering or related fields, with a proven track record of successful product development and project management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in an inclusive, collaborative, and fast-paced environment with minimal direction.
- Experience in medical device product development.
- Clinical knowledge and experience in cardiovascular anatomy.
- Working knowledge of relevant medical device regulations and guidance.
