About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Insights Engineer to join our team at Syntronic, a leading global engineering design house specializing in the design and development of embedded software/hardware, electronics, and electro-mechanics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including robotics product, program, and engineering leads, to deliver data-driven insights that inform the development and deployment of warehouse automation technology.
  • Utilize a combination of unified and disparate data sources to uncover actionable insights, presented through decision-driving analytics whitepapers and automated data visualizations.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in data modeling and engineering, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines, data visualization, and statistical analysis.
  • At least a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of and direct experience with AWS technologies and big data analytics tools, including EMR and Athena.
  • Experience with information retrieval, data science, data mining, and using test/control methodology and machine learning techniques.
  • Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL to handle large datasets.
  • Working knowledge of scripting with R/Python for statistical analysis.
  • Experience with Design of Experiments and statistical analysis of results.
  • Ability to create end-to-end dashboard solutions and reports that effectively convey insights to a wide range of users.
