The selected candidate will support the Facilities Maintenance team in ensuring the upkeep and management of the outdoor areas, machinery, and structures. Responsibilities will include executing both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on facilities and equipment as dictated by quality assurance standards. A commitment to safety will be upheld by ensuring that the premises are well-maintained and compliant with health and environmental regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborates effectively with all team members to foster a positive working environment.
  • Ensures that tools, equipment, and materials are properly cared for and utilized efficiently.
  • Keeps workspaces and equipment areas organized, clean, and safe.
  • Undertakes additional maintenance tasks as needed, within the scope of their skills.
  • Alerts the Supervisor when extra assistance is necessary.
  • Executes all aspects of landscape maintenance.
  • Maintains grounds-related machinery to the best of their capabilities.
  • Operates various grounds maintenance equipment, including mowers and trimmers.
  • Informs the Supervisor of any specific training needs.
  • Performs other assigned duties as required.
