We are a dynamic food service establishment seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our staff, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet our high standards.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they are meeting our expectations.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet our quality control standards, and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Reporting and Budgeting: Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and other key performance indicators, as well as prepare budget and cost estimates for future planning.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service.
  • Work Schedules: Establish work schedules for staff, ensuring that we have adequate coverage to meet customer demand.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Work Environment: Noisy, odours, wet/damp, hot, and outdoors.
  • Work Setting: Food service establishment, fast food outlet or concession.
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and physically demanding.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and team player.

  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Work Under Pressure: Work under pressure to meet customer demand and maintain high standards.
