Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Parts Counter Clerk to join our team at Canadian Tire #635. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Answer customer inquiries, provide product information, and resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Parts Sales: Sell retail parts and accessories to customers, including answering questions and making recommendations.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, receive and process shipments, and perform cycle counts as needed.
  • Cash Handling: Handle cash transactions, process credit card payments, and maintain a high level of accuracy with cash handling procedures.
  • Store Maintenance: Clean and maintain the parts counter and surrounding areas, including restocking shelves and tidying up the sales floor.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a retail sales environment is an asset.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong attention to detail.
Working Conditions

This is a physically demanding role that requires standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs). You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to multitask effectively.
