Job Title: Parts Counter Clerk

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Parts Counter Clerk to join our team at Canadian Tire #635. As a Parts Counter Clerk, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining accurate inventory records, and processing sales transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to customers, answering their queries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, including receiving, stocking, and issuing parts.
  • Process sales transactions, including handling cash, credit card payments, and operating a point-of-sale system.
  • Assist customers in finding the right parts and accessories for their vehicles, providing recommendations and advice as needed.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
