About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious School Bus Driver to join our team at First Student Canada-Transco. As a School Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, ensuring their well-being and safety throughout the journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a school bus in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Ensure the bus is clean and well-maintained, conducting regular pre- and post-trip inspections.
- Provide excellent customer service to students, parents, and school staff, responding to their needs and concerns.
- Collaborate with other drivers and support staff to ensure smooth and efficient route operations.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license for at least 1 year.
- At least 21 years old.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Ability to pass a Ministry-prescribed medical examination and background checks.
