Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized care to patients with complex mental health needs
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective interventions
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
  • Current Certificate of Competence issued by the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Minimum of two years' experience in an acute care inpatient mental health setting
  • Knowledge of the Recovery Model of Care and non-violent crisis intervention
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
