About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at Syntron Material Handling Group. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience in managing complex projects in the industrial automation sector. You will be responsible for developing and executing project plans, managing project resources, and ensuring that projects are delivered in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute project plans, including project scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Manage project resources, including personnel, vendors, and contractors.
  • Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as needed.
  • Manage project communications, including stakeholder engagement, progress reporting, and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and operations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in project management, with a strong background in industrial automation.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct project teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Proficient in project management software, including MS Project, Asana, or similar tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Experience with industrial automation software, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), human-machine interfaces (HMIs), and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, including OSHA, NFPA, and API.
