At Ansys, we empower visionary companies to push boundaries by harnessing the predictive power of simulation. As a R&D Verification Engineer, you will join our validation team to conduct software testing of ANSYS applications such as OpticStudio and its add-in modules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess product functionality and usability using physics-based optical simulation
  • Ensure product requirements and quality standards are met through rigorous testing and validation
  • Collaborate with product creation teams and communicate with technical specialists on product issues
  • Develop and maintain test plans, participate in defect management, and track testing metrics
Requirements:
  • BS in Optical Engineering or related field with 1-3 years of experience or MS with no experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with conversational English skills
  • Solid foundation in optical physics and familiarity with software validation and testing
  • 1+ years of experience using Python (and/or MATLAB) for computational analysis and/or modeling
  • Industrial experience designing, building, and/or testing optical products
  • Technical knowledge and experience with the OpticStudio Application Programming Interface (ZOS-API)
