Job Summary

Canada Post Corp is seeking a skilled Delivery Agent to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver mail and packages to customers on a daily basis, ensuring timely and efficient delivery
  • Sort and prepare mail and packages for delivery, using manual and automated sorting equipment
  • Operate a postal vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service to customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with other delivery agents and support staff to achieve team goals

Requirements

  • Valid Class 5 or Class G driver's license with a safe driving record for at least 3 years
  • Ability to lift mail items weighing up to 22.7 kg (50 lb) and carry items weighing up to 15.9 kg (35 lb) regularly throughout the day
  • Ability to work in all types of weather
  • Availability to be on-call
  • Ability to read, write and speak English and/or French

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in customer service
  • Experience making deliveries or working as a driver
