We're an innovative and ambitious organization with a successful track record of building successful and disruptive brands, including the iconic Mike's Hard Lemonade and White Claw.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement new product formulas, working closely with external teams and suppliers.
- Prepare lab formulas, ETQ formulas, and specifications for new and revised products.
- Communicate with flavor houses and ingredient suppliers to ensure high-quality ingredients.
- Collaborate with QA to determine finished product specifications, new product integrity, and stability testing.
- Assist QA and Operations with technical support and first runs or pilot runs.
- Conduct sensory evaluations and organize taste panels to ensure product quality.
- Work on shelf-life extension and alternative ingredient review.
- Collaborate with the Product Development team on experiment design, research, and other tasks.
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Nutrition, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Experience in the beverage industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of beverage product development, formulation, sensory, and testing is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.
- Ability to work effectively with suppliers and procurement teams.
- Capacity to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Desire to build a long-term career in product and flavor development.
- Team player with excellent communication and networking skills.
