Job Title: Aircraft Mechanic

At IMP Group, we are seeking a skilled Aircraft Mechanic to join our team. As an Aircraft Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of our aircraft by performing routine maintenance tasks, inspections, and repairs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of aircraft components.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with manufacturer recommendations, regulatory requirements, and company procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Evaluate service bulletins, airworthiness directives, and other technical documents to ensure compliance.
  • Prepare quotes for future maintenance and review with the Maintenance Production Manager.
  • Participate in scheduled heavy maintenance and provide AOG support as needed.
  • Ensure approved equipment and materials are used and maintain a high standard of workmanship.
  • Generate maintenance task cards and support the Maintenance Production Manager with administrative tasks.
  • Participate in hangar activities, including aircraft movements, equipment maintenance, and facility maintenance.
Requirements:
  • Hold a valid AME license category M2 with 5 to 8 years of experience.
  • Be available to work shifts as needed during major projects.
  • Have sound troubleshooting skills and computer skills to enable interrogation and downloading of information from aircraft and their engines.
  • Have previous experience in Corporate Aviation and possess a valid passport.
  • Minimum grade 12 and successful completion of a Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Technical training program.
