Sterling Crane Canada is seeking a highly skilled Crane & Rigging Supervisor to join our team in Coquitlam, BC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe execution of our day-to-day crane business.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and participate in toolbox talks and safety meetings to promote a culture of safety and compliance.
- Conduct operator competency reports and site observations to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Scale, size, and effectively bid jobs to meet customer needs and company objectives.
- Review and approve customer work methods to ensure alignment with company policies and procedures.
- Provide on-site lift supervision to ensure safe and efficient crane operations.
- Support dispatch operations to ensure timely and effective crane deployment.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive sales and revenue growth.
- Journeyman certification with a BC Certificate of Qualification and Red Seal Endorsement for mobile crane operation is preferred.
- Previous supervision experience is considered an asset.
- Candidates with experience in the construction market and/or crane industry will be given priority.
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License; Class 1 Drivers License is considered an asset.
- Proven record of building relationships with customers and excellent communication skills.
- Self-starter able to work independently and as part of a team.
