We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team at Red Seal truck and Equipment Repair. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining machine tools and parts, as well as setting up and adjusting production machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to ensure accurate repairs and maintenance.
  • Repair machine tools and parts, and set up and adjust production machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate measurements.
  • Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances, and maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports.
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments, and set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Public transportation is available.
Work Environment:

This is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. The successful candidate must be physically demanding and able to stand for extended periods.
