Job Summary

Spectrum Health Care is seeking a compassionate and reliable Care Companion to join our team. As a Companion Driver, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transport clients to various locations, ensuring their safety and comfort during travel.
  • Provide emotional support, conversation, and reassurance to clients, promoting their mental and emotional well-being.
  • Assist clients with daily tasks, such as grocery shopping and parcel delivery, and help them in and out of the vehicle.
  • Monitor and report any changes in clients' physical, emotional, or environmental conditions to Spectrum Health Care management.

Requirements

  • Valid G license with access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Clear driver's abstract.
  • Class 07 Rider certification (required as a condition of employment).
  • Negative TB test within the last year (required as a condition of employment).
  • Compassionate and empathetic individual with a passion for helping others.
