Job Summary

Cobra Rebar Services Ltd is seeking a skilled Ironworker - Reinforcing Rebar to join our team. As a key member of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for erecting and installing scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms. You will also signal crane operators to position units according to blueprints, align, weld or bolt units in place, and position and secure steel bars or metal mesh in concrete forms to reinforce concrete structures.

Responsibilities
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms
  • Signal crane operators to position units according to blueprints
  • Align, weld or bolt units in place
  • Position and secure steel bars or metal mesh in concrete forms to reinforce concrete structures
  • Unload and position steel units so each piece can be hoisted as needed
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years or equivalent experience
  • Working at heights training
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Work Environment

This role requires working outdoors in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be handling heavy loads and working at heights. You must be physically demanding and have good manual dexterity.
