About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at Wylds KM Services. As a key member of our outdoor operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and maintenance of our grounds and landscaping projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire, Supervise, and Schedule Staff: Lead a team of grounds maintenance personnel, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Plan and Direct Grounds Maintenance: Develop and implement comprehensive grounds maintenance plans, including mowing, pruning, and weeding.
  • Plan and Estimate Labour and Materials: Conduct site assessments to determine the necessary resources required for each project, ensuring accurate estimates and efficient use of materials.
  • Organize and Direct Construction of Decks and Decorative or Retaining Walls: Oversee the construction of outdoor structures, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Plan, Manage, and Supervise Landscape Construction Work: Coordinate and execute large-scale landscaping projects, including planting, excavation, and grading.
  • Maintain Work Records and Logs: Accurately record and track work completed, including hours worked, materials used, and any issues encountered.
  • Repair and Maintain Equipment: Ensure all equipment is in good working condition, performing regular maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Weed, Prune, and Trim Trees and Plants: Maintain the health and appearance of trees and plants, ensuring they are properly pruned and trimmed.
  • Plant Bulbs, Flowers, Shrubs, and Trees: Plant and maintain a variety of flora, ensuring they thrive in their environment.
  • Cart and Spread Topsoil and Other Materials: Transport and distribute materials as needed, ensuring efficient use of resources.
