Diamond Crete And Construction Inc. is seeking a dedicated **Trainee Carpenter** to join our skilled team. This role is ideal for individuals looking to develop their carpentry skills in a dynamic construction environment.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 to 2 years in a related field is preferred.
- Conditions: The worksite may be noisy and dusty.
- Settings: Engage in various construction projects including residential, commercial, industrial, and renovation tasks.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials such as wood and lightweight steel.
- Install windows, doors, stairs, and hardware.
- Coordinate and schedule work activities on-site.
- Provide instruction and supervision to apprentices and other workers.
- Estimate project costs and required materials.
- Maintain and repair wooden structures across various establishments.
Oversee a small team of 1 to 2 individuals.
Transportation Requirements- Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to personal transportation.
- Willingness to travel as required, with travel expenses covered by the employer.
- Ability to handle a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Must be capable of lifting heavy loads and working under tight deadlines.
- Overtime may be required, and the role is physically demanding.
- Personal tools and safety equipment are necessary, including steel-toed boots, hard hats, and safety glasses.

This is a permanent position requiring approximately 35 hours of work per week, primarily conducted in English.
