Job Description

Amix is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marine Project Manager to lead our marine construction projects from conception to completion. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of assigned projects, including identifying opportunities, developing project plans, and leading the Marine Projects Team to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage marine construction projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders, and obtain necessary approvals and permits.
  • Coordinate and oversee project teams, including subcontractors, suppliers, and internal staff, to ensure efficient project execution and compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to provide updates on project status, address concerns, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Prepare and present project reports, presentations, and other documentation to management and stakeholders, highlighting key accomplishments, milestones, and areas for improvement.
  • Manage project finances, including budget tracking, cost control, and invoice processing, to ensure projects are delivered within budgetary constraints.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field experience.
  • 3 to 5 years in proven Project Management experience in the marine construction industry with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • PMP certification or similar is considered an asset.
  • Marine projects, marine engineering, and/or marine experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience working on and around cranes and barges.
