Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Board Certified Veterinary Specialist to join our team at VCA Canada. As a key member of our hospital, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and working collaboratively with our team to deliver high-quality medical services.

About the Role:

  • Provide comprehensive medical care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of complex medical cases.
  • Collaborate with our team of specialists, including surgeons, oncologists, and emergency doctors, to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication, surgery, and other interventions, to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements, and apply this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
  • Participate in hospital-wide initiatives to improve patient satisfaction, quality of care, and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Board certification in Internal Medicine or a related field.
  • Valid Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, enabling practice in Canada.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, clients, and colleagues.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound medical decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
